August's Challenge Photo-Beverly

OK, our photo this month comes courtesy of Beverly. It was taken by her daughter in Annecy, France. The photo really has a lot of great elements so I hope everyone has a good time with it.

Beverly- if you have any further information on this photo please let us all know.

As a reminder, our reveals run through the end of the month. Please check the dates to be sure of the timeframe. We also have our check in opportunity mid month so don't miss that either.

  2. hmmmmm... this is going to make me think outside the box. Until I saw this, it hadn't occurred to me how much I've gravitated to featuring organic shapes in my work. Whereas, it used to be strictly geometric and very much on a grid for me. Hmmmmmm....

  4. You made me curious, so I had to go looking ... I found another view of that castle, along with some info about Le Palais de l'Isle.

  6. I'll be gone for 3 weeks. Aargh! This weekend is a whole bunch of family here for the 4th. Then, it's a big push to get cleaned up, sorted through, and stored out of the way for our renters. Aargh!

  9. I am glad we have moved the date to August! This is waaayyy out of my usual zone! A good chance to try out some new ideas! I am pretty sure I will need the extra time! Like Nellie, my usual tendencies are towards organic natural shapes. Time for me to try this!
